We’re very disturbed by the recent events at University of Oklahoma.
On Sunday, a video leaked of an University of Oklahoma fraternity, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, engaged in an extremely racist chant while en route to an event.

The video is so egregious that it sent shockwaves throughout the media immediately after it was posted, and the chapter has since been shut down.
The national headquarters of Sigma Alpha Epsilon released the following statement:
“We apologize for the unacceptable and racist behavior of the individuals in the video, and we are disgusted that any member would act in such a way. We are embarrassed by this video. This type of racist behavior will not be tolerated and is not consistent with the values and morals of our fraternity. This is absolutely not who we are.”
We’re glad the national headquarters took such a defiant stance in response to the unacceptable behavior of the fraternity. Racism should never be tolerated. The President of the college and many of its students have also come forward to admonish the members of the frat.
A few celebs, like Waka Flocka Flame, also took to social media to vent their feelings of disgust over the incident. Waka’s response in particular is especially poignant considering he was scheduled to perform at Oklahoma State, a gig he has since chosen to cancel.
