By now everyone knows that Lily Allen is no longer the face of Chanel‘s Coco Cocoon handbags and has since been replaced with a brand favorite Vanessa Paradis. And now we know why!
A source explained that Karl Lagerfeld wanted her out because of her hard pAArtying reputation!
Did he not know about her love of booze before he hired her?
Her downward spiral at Chanel began last year when she got drunk at Karl’s home in Paris. The source reveals “She got very drunk and had to be taken to the loos to sober up. Karl wasn’t impressed.”
HA!
And that even would inevitably come back to haunt as she was recently banned from Chanel’s Cannes festivities:
“Karl had a show and a party, but Lily was not invited. It was Karl’s way of making it clear she is no longer a part of the Chanel family. He instructed his people not to invite her. He is very strict about who can represent the brand and there is a feeling that Lily is too much of a party girl.”
Ouch!
Better cut back on the alcohol if you ever want to get into high fashion again, Silly!
