Simon Cowell Admits Expectations For X Factor Viewership A Little Too High!

Hey! Just because it’s a bona fide smash in other countries doesn’t mean it won’t need to find its own footing, here!
Although Simon Cowell apparently was hoping for 20 million to tune into his recently debuted US version of The X Factor, the series premiere only drew in around 12.5 million, and has since tapered off to around 12 million per episode! However, the creator of the reality competition isn’t deterred, and instead is grateful to have other singing shows, like American Idol and The Voice, as competition!
He explains:

“I’m not going to lie. I wanted 20 million when we launched, but now I’m kind of back in the real world and I’m seeing this grow naturally. I’m as happy as I’ve ever been. We’re not in Russia where you have one show. This is life. If you’re competitive and it spurs you on, I kind of get excited by it.”

Good attitude, sir!
And we think that now that the audition rounds are out of the way, audiences are going to start to notice what makes this show different from the others…which could lead to a climb in the ratings!
Or not!
Modern Family is a toughie to beat! LOLz!
What do U think? Are U loving X Factor??
