Looks like Simon may have found a new judge for the US X Factor.
Yesterday, we learned that Cheryl Cole would NOT be getting a judge position on the show, so it comes as no surprise that Fox is now announcing that American record exec Tommy Mottola is up for a judging position.
Here’s what a source at Fox had to say about it:
“Simon and Tommy have known each other for years since their days at Sony and Simon has wanted to get Tommy on board one of his shows for a long time.”
“They get on extremely well and this could be the moment where they finally get on screen together. Tommy├óΓé¼Γäós from the Bronx in New York, he├óΓé¼Γäós tough talking, doesn├óΓé¼Γäót pull any punches and will make great TV.”
Cowell isn’t expected to make an official announcement about US X Factor judges until next month, but it definitely seems like Mottola will be on board.
