Simone Biles had a pretty scary experience this week!
The Olympian took to Instagram Stories on Saturday to post a picture of herself wearing multiple hospital bracelets, revealing she “almost” DIED during a recent medical emergency! OMG! She wrote:
“I’m not one to normally share things like this because I value privacy in today’s age. But almost dying wasn’t on my bingo card earlier this week. This was one of, if not the, scariest experience of my life.”

And what made it especially scary for Simone? Her NFL star husband, Jonathan Owens, was out of town for preseason “practices” with the Indianapolis Colts during the whole ordeal! Oh no! Thankfully, the gymnast had a good support system around her while he was away!
Simone didn’t disclose what happened, but she said she would at some point. For now, she is getting as much rest as possible:
“I’ve been in bed resting this week. I’ll explain sooner or later, but [shout out] to my close circle who reached out, checked in, visited or sent flowers
, Love y’all.”
Simone then posted a picture in bed, along with a screenshot of a monitor reading her current resting heart rate. Take a look at the posts (below):
