After sharing a “resting beach face” pic of herself on her Hawaiian vacation over the weekend, one Instagram commenter totally put her on blast for enjoying herself.

Except it didn’t take long for the gold medalist to fire back:
“Talk to me when you train for 14 years and earn 5 Olympic medals. I think kids would say otherwise. My year off is well deserved! Take a couple seats.”
Yess, girl!
If her response wasn’t enough to make sure the online hater got the point, Simone also put their exchange on Twitter for all to see:
