It seems like there’s not much Brandy Norwood can’t do!!!
Brandy recently opened up in a JUICY interview and discussed issues that a LOT of people can relate to including, heartache, her inspiration for being better, and the hardest part about being a mom to daughter Sy’rai!!!
Here’s what the beautiful mom had to say:
On the best part of motherhood:
“I love being a mother because having a child inspires you to be a better ├óΓé¼┼ôyou.├óΓé¼┬¥
On maternal hardships:
“The hardest thing about being a mother is that you realize you aren├óΓé¼Γäót perfect and you├óΓé¼Γäóll make mistakes. But you do the best you can.”
On what she tells daughter Sy’rai about relationships:
“I teach Sy├óΓé¼Γäórai to always be who you are. Sometimes you can loose yourself if you don├óΓé¼Γäót have a strong foundation so I talk to her about knowing who she is.”
On handling heartbreak and first loves:
“When I was dating Wanya Morris [from Boys II Men], my mom was afraid of me getting my heartbroken, so she was cautious. But with Sy├óΓé¼Γäórai, when it comes to relationships, I├óΓé¼Γäóm going to be a little more open and allow her to make her own choices.”
On her industry mothers:
“I├óΓé¼Γäóve had so many women who have been good to me. Whitney Houston was my everything and she opened so many doors for me and also offered good advice.
Also, Oprah Winfrey has been over to the house and we were able to talk without cameras and she├óΓé¼Γäós been a huge inspiration. And Kesha Epps (formerly of Total and wife of actor Omar Epps) is a dear friend and like the big sister I never had.”
She’s so REAL, and that’s exactly why we’re so down with this girl!!
It’s great to see she’s come a long way from her teen days, and become such a perezcious parent!!!
