About time!
While one would imagine that Sarah Jessica Parker would never get involved in something so low-brow as reality television, the Sex and The City gal has actually let her production company, Pretty Matches, cross the line to produce a new competition show pitting artist against artist.
And you know Bravo was all too pleased to step in and snatch that baby up!
Starting on June 9th, SJP’s reality competition for artists, Work of Art: The Next Great Artist, will air, showcasing 14 artists competing to receive a solo show at the Brooklyn Museum and $100,000 cash.
Judges include art critic Jerry Saltz, Half Gallery owner Bill Powers and art adviser Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn. The show’s mentor is auctioneer Simon de Pury.
Hopefully, these artsy farsty types bring the drama. Otherwise, SJP will have to make an appearance on every episode just to keep the show on the air!
