Beloved Skid Row Activist Ms. Shirley's Cause Of Death Revealed

Ms. Shirley Raines‘s cause of death has been revealed.

As you know, the beloved activist who worked primarily on Skid Row in El Lay with her Beauty 2 The Streetz foundation was found dead in January. Her twin sister Sheila was the one who discovered her “unresponsive” in her Nevada home. So sad.

Ms. Shirley’s daughter Danielle Williams confirmed her mother’s cause of death to People on Wednesday.

She said her mom died of hypertensive heart disease. Per The Cleveland Clinic, hypertensive heart disease “can cause problems because of long-term, unmanaged high blood pressure. The added strain on your heart from working harder could make your heart muscle thicken. It can also lead to heart failure”.

Such a sad situation. The world is a little duller without Ms. Shirley in it. May she rest in peace.
