This alpine skier could have died!!!
Marcel Hirscher was in the middle of a competitive slalom ski run in Italy on Tuesday night when he narrowly missed being hit and seriously injured by a drone that came crashing down from above!

The skier, a four-time reigning World Cup champion, sounded a little spooked when he spoke to the Associated Press about what happened (which you can see in the GIF above)!
He said:
“This is horrible. This can never happen again. This can be a serious injury.”
No kidding.
Hirscher finished his race strongly, but ended up in second place on the night.
We’re just glad the drone didn’t land on top of him.
