The Patriot Actress Skye McCole Bartusiak Has Died At Age 21

What?! No! How can this be?!
Skye McCole Bartusiak brought the world to tears with her role in The Patriot, and sadly she has passed away.
The cause of death isn’t known, but the 21-year-old reportedly died in her sleep at her home in Texas. A spokesperson for the family said:

“[Skye was] a brave and caring young woman├óΓé¼┬ª [She is] deeply missed by her family and friends.”

Skye continued to work in Hollywood, landing parts in The Cider House Rules, 24, Lost, House M.D., and CSI Crime Scene Investigation.
