The infamous story of Guns ‘n’ Roses, one of the greatest bands of recent memory, falling apart despite an extremely talented lead guitarist and lead singer is the stuff of legend!
But amazing guitarist Slash isn’t holding any grudges against ex bandmate Axl Rose.
Or at least he’s not holding any grudges against Axl’s name!
After his friends Josh Duhamel & Fergie named their son after the lead singer – someone asked Slash how he felt about the name Axl for their baby’s name.
Here’s what he said:
“I think it’s really cool, I actually talked to [Fergie and Josh] yesterday. It’s all good … who am I to judge?”
Actually you totally did judge, and we agree with your judgment one hundred percent!
Axl IS a really cool name!
Also we love the reference to the parents Slash threw in there! It only makes sense one of the best guitarists is rubbing elbows with the rich and famous!
We guess Slash is living in paradise city!
