Smash Mouth Bassist Receives ZERO Jail Time After Violent Beating Of Wife On Video

We cannot believe it!
Remember when we showed you HORRIFYING footage of bassist Paul DeLisle breaking into his wife’s bathroom and beating her mercilessly?
Of course you do, those kinds of images stay with you for a lifetime!
The messed-up musician from Smash Mouth pled guilty to misdemeanor assault and violating a protective order a few weeks ago in a Santa Cruz courtroom.
We’ve also learned his sentence includes NO jail time — his primary punishment being three years of formal probation!
Wow!! We can’t believe someone could be CAUGHT acting so maliciously on camera and still escape jail!
Other terms of his sentencing include 200 hours of community service, a protective order for peaceful contact with the victim, 52 domestic violence counseling sessions, and some fines and court fees.
It’s not our place to judge the fairness of the sentencing ,but we are definitely relieved Paul must spend time at counseling for domestic abuse.
Violence solves very few problems and there is never a justifiable explanation for attacking a loved one!!
