Poor Sofia Vergara.
Her younger brother has been battling a drug addiction that has led to being arrested 30 times in the last 10 years.
After so many arrests, Julio Vergara was deported to Colombia by immigration authorities a couple months ago, which has left Sofia heartbroken.
She says:
“To see somebody dying over 10 years, little by little, that├óΓé¼Γäós the worst punishment. Now he├óΓé¼Γäós like another person.”
When Sofia brought Julio, her sister and mother to live with her Miami, she was hoping he would go back to school. But Sofia says “he wasn’t ready” and that’s when he began abusing alcohol, pot, cocaine, and crack.
We feel for Sofia and her family. Luckily, she seems to have a positive outlook on things. She’s said, “With so many bad things happening, it creates a tough.You just have to take a deep breath and keep on going.”
Don’t give up on your family, Sofia.
