Sofia Vergara Hates Going To The Gym As Much As You Do!

It’s true! Sofia Vergara is covering the December issue of Health magazine, available on newsstands this Friday, in which she opens up about working out with her personal trainer, her unhealthiest habit, and plastic surgery.
In order to keep her figure looking as good as it does, the voluptuous Modern Family actress hired celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson to keep her motivated throughout her “paaaaaaainful” workouts, explaining:

“It├óΓé¼Γäós paaaaaainful. I hired Gunnar Peterson, which is really fun. Because I mean, if I go alone, I├óΓé¼Γäóll sabotage myself. I├óΓé¼Γäóll do half of the workout. So I need somebody to force me to do it.”

And he does! The actress joked that his workouts are so tough that she can’t help but tear up sometimes, saying:

“I cry, I get on the floor, I├óΓé¼Γäóm like, ‘I├óΓé¼Γäóm gonna throw up, enough!’ I mean, he doesn├óΓé¼Γäót care.”

Beyond a personal trainer, Sofia’s biggest motivation to get to the gym is her own reflection, as she told sources:

“Oh my God, I look at myself in the mirror. And I├óΓé¼Γäóm like, I├óΓé¼Γäóm almost 40 years old and I need to go!”

For almost 40, she looks better than most do at almost 30, which could be due in part to her healthy history. Although naturally gorgeous, the Colombian actress doesn’t smoke and has “never done drugs.” She does, however, have one weakness — desert!

“I don├óΓé¼Γäót smoke, I├óΓé¼Γäóve never done drugs. I think the most unhealthy thing is that I├óΓé¼Γäóm obsessed with dessert. And it├óΓé¼Γäós verrry hard for me not to eat it at least once a day.”

As for plastic surgery, a common means of defying time and age in our society, Sofia isn’t opposed to it, saying:

“I├óΓé¼Γäóm not against it at all. But I think that you should go into it more thinking that you want to look beautiful than trying to look young. Because I don├óΓé¼Γäót really think that plastic surgery can make you look young. It can make you look prettier, but if you go with the mentality of being young, I think that├óΓé¼Γäós where accidents can happen.”

If it weren’t for her mother’s guidance, Sofia may have had one of those accidents herself by giving into her publicist’s pressure to have a breast reduction, continuing:

“When I moved to America, I was more voluptuous, and I felt a little different. And one time, years ago, I remember my publicist [at the time] told me, ‘I think you should just reduce your boobs because nobody├óΓé¼Γäós going to take you seriously here.’ My mother almost had a heart attack. She was like, ‘God is going to punish you! You can├óΓé¼Γäót cut your boobs!’ I don├óΓé¼Γäót regret not doing it, because now it├óΓé¼Γäós become a big part of Gloria.”

We’re sure a good portion of her audience appreciated her decision to keep those boobies just the way God made them too! Ha!
