Sophia Bush Won't Back Down!!! Fires Back At Political Haters!

Sophia Bush doesn’t back down from a fight!
As reported from the Quote of the Day, The actress recently appeared on Fox News and said the following:

I will not vote for a candidate who thinks you can ‘pray away the gay,’ I will not vote for a candidate who thinks that he has more rights to my uterus than I do, I will not vote for a candidate who thinks that it’s okay to dump toxic waste in the ocean.
I’m afraid for our country that people like this (current Republican candidates) could even be thought of as the president. I live in a country where I believe all men are created equal, not just wealthy white guys.
I believe all men, all women, regardless of race, gender, socioeconomic background, you deserve the same rights. If that’s not where our country is going, then I’ll leave. I don’t need to live here. I’m out! I’ll go to Canada, peace! See you later.

This was met by some very rude comments, including phrases like “kill yourself bitch.
Sophia fires back at her haters with the following:

Gee whiz. I’m just so amazed by how kind people with differing political views are being today! Oh wait. That’s not happening. A joke about moving cross the boarder (because I’m half Canadian) doesn’t seem to warrant the “kill yourself bitch” replies I’m getting today.
d
I clearly stated that I’m let down by both parties. That I am disillusioned by the political sphere as a whole. And that I simply want this nation to be one where, truly, “all men (and women thank-you-very-much) are created equal.” I believe in an America where everyone, regardless of party, economic status, sexual orientation, or religious conviction, can live freely.
THAT is The UNITED States. So why don’t all of you bigots and bitchers work on being proud Americans, who lead by a love-thy-neighbor example, instead of promoting intolerance that this country is supposed to have risen above. Seriously

We’re proud to see someone stand up for what they believe in and not back down from detractors.
Well said, Sophia!
