Sophie Turner & Joe Jonas Have 'Always Known' They Wanted Kids: 'Family Was Part Of' The Plan

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have a baby on the way, and by the sounds of it, it’s something they’ve been planning for!

The couple, who wed in a second ceremony in France this past June, had talked about expanding their family, according to a Us Weekly source.

“Having children and starting a family was part of Joe and Sophie’s plan. They’ve always known they’ve wanted kids.”

The stars are supposedly expecting their first child “in the middle of the summer,” as we previously reported. An insider told E! News at the time that the soon-to-be parents are “extremely excited,” even though the pregnancy is still in the “early” days. The source explained Sophie is about four months along.

“They told their families recently and everyone is ecstatic and so happy for them.”

While the Game of Thrones actress and her musician hubby have yet to publicly come out to confirm the news, we can also say they haven’t shared any thoughts on bringing a baby Jonas into the world just yet. It doesn’t surprise us they’d be so private! After all, the stars did get married in secret the first time around… until Diplo’s live-stream of the Vegas wedding after the Billboard Music Awards in May was discovered!

Speaking on the UK’s Capital Breakfast With Roman Kemp radio show nearly a month after tying the knot thanks to an Elvis Presley impersonator, the What A Man Gotta Do artist was pressed on whether or not Diplo “ruined” their nuptials.

“Diplo did. Yeah, he ruined it. I love Diplo, but he loves his ‘gram more than a 13-year-old. He posts every five seconds. He literally, like, live-streamed with dog face filters.”

Thankfully, he and his bride held no hard feelings:

“We just laughed, we loved it. We thought it was ridiculous. And I just love that he was walking into the chapel and he’s like, ‘Going to hit this wedding real quick,’ [in his Instagram Story].”

It made for such a great story, too! Joe’s brother, Nick Jonas, and his wife, Priyanka Chopra, on the other hand, have been more open about their plans to have a little one. In the September issue of Vogue India, the actress revealed it’s in the future:

“For me home is wherever I’m happy, as long as I have the people I love around me.I have homes in Mumbai and New York, which are very vertical cities. LA is more horizontal. Buying a home and having a baby are on my to-do list.”

Eee!! We can’t wait for more JoBros babies!
