Unfortunately, Aerosmith will not be finishing up their tour this summer.
Bummer!
The band released a statement apologizing to fans and explaining the reason:
“Due to injuries Steven Tyler sustained last week when he fell from the stage during a concert in Sturgis, South Dakota, doctors have advised the lead singer to take the time to properly recuperate from the accident that resulted in a broken shoulder and stitches to his head.”
Yikes! How terrible for Steve! The fall didn’t look that bad, but we guess it was much worse than anyone thought. We hope he feels better and is back on his feet soon!
The other important member of the band, Joe Perry, added to the statement:
“Words can’t express the sadness I feel for having to cancel this tour. We hope we can get the Aerosmith machine up and running again as soon as possible.”
We’re sure they’ll make it up to you fans. They’re classy like that.
