Before his death, Don Cornelius‘s brain child, Soul Train, was in talks to be revived.
Magic Johnson bought the Soul Train brand and library in 2011 and says he has many ideas to bring back the classic hit.
So what are these ideas?
Soul Train has over 1,100 hours of footage, many of which has only been aired once. Kenard Gibbs, head of the new Soul Train holdings, says that the show could become a variety show, a film, books, and even a Broadway musical and Soul Train cruise!
We’d love to see Soul Train as a Broadway baby!!!
