Broadway is about to get vulgar.
The Book of Mormon, a religious satire written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, will premiere on Broadway on March 24, 2011 at the Eugene O’Neill Theater.
The musical tells the story of two young Mormon missionaries who are sent off to spread ‘the word’ in Uganda. The story is a twisted parallel of the story of Joseph Smith, the founder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
This should be HIGHlarious!
