Could the Spice Girls‘ broadway show Viva Forever! really live forever??
Despite horrific reviews and just being yanked from stage, there is still a VERY good chance that the girl power show could be revived for a West End run!
Producer Judy Craymer revealed:
├óΓé¼┼ôOh yes, I├óΓé¼Γäóm sure Viva! will rise again at some point. It can be worked on. It was heartbreaking that we had to close it. I wouldn├óΓé¼Γäót say there weren├óΓé¼Γäót faults with it, but I love the Spice Girls, and, when you are thinking about a subject to write a musical about, I think that the Spice girls have earned a place on our landscape. Audiences had a good time. It wasn├óΓé¼Γäót Mamma Mia! but I wasn├óΓé¼Γäót trying for it to be Mamma Mia! It was meant to be more the combination of Jennifer [Saunders], and comedy with a wink at pop culture.”
Well, we aren’t going to see the girls on tour any time soon, so we’d totez settle for a broadway version of the legendary quintet of songstresses.
It’s just like the group says: NEVER give up on the good times!!! LOLz!
