Spider-Man Turns Off The Critics, Turns On Theatergoers

If the Green Goblin can’t stop Spider-Man, did we REALLY think the critics would be able to do it?
Despite the fact that reviews for Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark have been overwhelmingly negative, ticket sales are up!
Last week, the show had “almost a 3 percent spike in sales over the previous week,” grossing $1,330,014.
Congratulations, Spider-Man team! Good to know that the hundreds of injured crew/cast members’ efforts weren’t entirely in vain.
