spiderman turn off the dark

Despite horrible reviews, the Broadway musical, Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark, has raked in over $3.5 million in only TWO weeks!

Clearly fans are too loyal to listen to the critics, and if the younger audiences keep rolling in, co-producer Jeremiah J. Harris will be ecstatic having stated:

We will have accomplished something that has rarely been done on Broadway and will help create an audience for generations to come.

Of course, if Spidey keeps makin’ that money, the producers aren├óΓé¼Γäót going to be the only ones happy. Sony and Disney have to be crossing their fingers big time in hopes this show will rise in positive publicity.

You see, Sony owns the movie rights to the superhero bug-man and Disney owns Marvel and therefore the character itself. With so much pressure on the fourth movie in the franchise succeeding, it will be a sigh of relief for investors and owners if the musical turns into a stable road leading up to the film.

Peter Parker, we’re on your side. Show everyone what this $75 million production can be!
