According to the latest reports, Gossip Girl head honcho Josh Schwartz has said the spinoff rumors are NOT true.
Schwarts says, “Not sure how this got out there, but no plans for spinoff at this moment. The books do have a spinoff, but we have nothing in the works right now other than making sure season two gets off to a great start.”
And there you have it, straight from the boss’ mouth.
Although, it should be noted, the key words in his statement are “at this moment.”
