Meet The First Plus-Size Model To Be Officially Featured In The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Not Just In An Ad!

Nowadays, you don’t have to be stick thin to be considered sexy!
As we reported on Wednesday, size-16 model Ashley Graham will be featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in an ad for plus-size bathing suit line SwimsuitsForAll.

This is revolutionary as it’s the first time a full-figured woman has graced the classic magazine.
However, it turns out that another curvaceous model will be joining Miz Graham, and she will be featured — not in an ad — but in an actual section!
Robyn Lawley, a size-10 model from Australia, will appear in the “Rookies” section of the publication which will hit shelves February 9!
The sizzling 25-year-old (above) will be wearing a seductive tangerine and snakeprint bikini!
While we’re incredibly happy that Sports Illustrated is featuring it’s first ever non-sample-sized model both in an ad and in its pages, it’s a shame we’re even calling Miz Lawley “plus-size” to begin with!
Size 10 is a HEALTHY and AVERAGE size for a woman, especially in the U.S.!
Regardless, we applaud this new age of diversity, and we hope to see more women with REAL bodies portrayed in the media.
