Heartbreaking!
Our hearts go out to the family of the late Stacie Crimm and her newborn Dottie Mae.
When Stacie found out that she had finally gotten pregnant at 41, she was overjoyed.
Stacie always wanted to be a mother. The bringing new life into the world was so important to Stacie, when doctors told her she had an aggressive brain tumor she refused chemotherapy treatment. The brave mother chose to save her baby’s life rather than her own.

explained Crimson’s brother, Ray Phillips.
The heroic mom survived long enough to deliver her 2-pound, 1 ounce daughter and hold the baby in her arms, just once.
We couldn’t even imagine what making that decision could have been like. Stacie will forever be remembered for her incredible sacrifice.
