The X Factor contestant chatted up Whitney’s beau, Ray J, and the superstar would not tolerate it. Sources claim that Whitney stormed off the stage and confronted Stacy, stating, “This is my man! I├óΓé¼Γäóm a cougar!”
Stacy tweeted the following on the mishap:
This is a sad time for me. I loved Whitney Houston with all my heart. She was such an amazing musical influence for me.
I deeply regret the events that led to Thursday’s misunderstanding, but I respect and love her more than I can say.
Ray J told Whitney that Stacy was a longtime family friend, but she wasn’t buying it.
Stacy goes on to give her condolences to Whitney’s family and tweeted her support.
Sad. No one wants to end any relationship like this one did.
