Stan Lee died at age 95 last week.
As we reported, he was rushed by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai from his Hollywood Hills home on November 12 and died shortly after.
According to a death certificate obtained by TMZ, the Marvel Comics mastermind’s cause of death was officially heart and respiratory failure.

The certificate also revealed he suffered aspiration pneumonia, which is caused by inhaling food, stomach acid, or saliva into your lungs.
Lee’s body was reportedly cremated, the ashes given to his daughter Joan Celia “J.C.” Lee. The certificate lists his occupation as a writer in the publishing business.
Such an understatement.
