Body Cooling Glove Works Better Than Steroids For Athletes

Imagine a world where athletes didn’t have to use steroids to speed up recovery time after brutal work outs, games, or injuries.
Lowering the body’s core temperature is the key to doing this.
That world could be very, very close to being a reality since Stanford believes that the heat-extracting glove they’re developing is so effective at lowering core body temperture that it might actually be better than steroids in speeding up recovery time.
Basically, Stanford researchers have developed a technology that creates a vacuum around a hand and draws heat right out from the body.
Here’s how it works:

The newest version of the device is a rigid plastic mitt, attached by a hose to what looks like a portable cooler. The device creates a slight vacuum. The veins in the palm expand, drawing blood into the AVAs, where it is rapidly cooled by water circulating through the glove’s plastic lining.

Not only is it way more convenient, it works better than they thought.
When they tested it, the subject was able to increase his number of pullups per session from 180 to 620 over a span of… wait for it… six weeks.
The glove was connected to his hand between every other set and then he was able to resume, and any residual fatigue from an earlier part of the workout was gone. Poof. Disappeared.
Just think what this will do to sports!
