The Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser finally hit the web on Friday, and the response was through the roof!
Fans were excited about all the old (Tatooine, X-Wings, the Millennium Falcon) and immediately got into debates about the new (what’s up with that triple lightsaber??) content!

Unfortunately there was a small but loud contingent online that weren’t happy with seeing a black stormtrooper (above).
Well newcomer John Boyega, who has the privilege of playing that stormtrooper, has a message for all fans of the franchise — including the racist ones!
He posted on his Instagram:
Nicely put! We like how he put the haters in their rightful place: the trash compactor on the detention level!
Besides, worrying about someone’s race? It’s a boring conversation anyway!
