Another re-release Star Wars?!
Lucas Films will be re-releasing each installment ofStar Wars in 3D, beginning with Episode one, The Phantom Menace, in 2012. After the first one, each film will be released at the same time in consecutive years.
George Lucas is personally overseeing each film’s conversion into 3D. He said he was inspired by Avatar to do the re-release.
How many Star Wars re-releases do we have to sit through? In our opinion, the biggest downside to this re-release is that we├óΓé¼Γäóll probably have to see Jabba the Hut in 3D — gross!
