Stephen Colbert is SO happy the U.S. Supreme Court finally legalized rainbows same sex marriage!
The upcoming Late Show host posted a video on the show’s YouTube channel to comment on the historic news!
But the clip wasn’t all celebration, as the 51-year-old called out the Supreme Court justices who voted against marriage equality in Friday’s 5-4 ruling!

In typical late night talk show fashion, the comedian ragged on Justice Antonin Scalia, who wrote in his dissent that he “would hide [his] head in a bag” if he ever joined an opinion that began the way Justice Anthony Kennedy‘s majority decision did.
Colbert then jested:
“I could’ve sworn he was already hiding his head in a flesh-toned cinch sack.”
The host then extended Scalia an invitation to come on his show, which officially returns on Sept. 8 on CBS!
