Whoa! This is sure to get the PTC in a twist!
Star Magazine, on the heels of American Idol having Steven Tyler apologize for his behavior on the show, is reporting that the Aerosmith frontman has a history of hitting on younger women. In fact, the mag reports that earlier on in his career, Steven carried on a three-year relationship with a 15-year-old girl.
Ewwww! No!
Her name was Julia and according to a friend, Steven was madly in love with her. The pal reveals:
“Everyone thought they were both nuts when they got together, but it was typical of the rock ‘n’ roll decadence of the ’70s; it couldn’t have happened in any other era. Steven was totally in love with Julia. Women threw themselves at him, but he didn’t want anyone else!”
Somehow, his devotion to her doesn’t really make it any less icky or statutory rape. Just saying.
When Steven was asked to describe his relationship with Julia, he indeed admitted that he was in love with her, and that their love was “mysterious”, “incredible”, and “delicious.”
Um, eww! She was 15! Still a baby! This is so wrong on so many different levels!
How did this not come up in the background check, Idol producers? Gross!
