People were wondering why rocker and Idol judge Steven Tyler cancelled his attendance to the White House Correspondents Dinner when the only reason given was “personal reasons.”
Well, it turns out that Tyler had a very valid excuse — he was spending time with his ailing father, classical musician Victor Tallarico.
The good news is that despite the urgency required to miss the dinner:
“He is much better now and he will celebrate his 95th birthday with Steven next week.”
