No matter how old you are, it always hurts to lose a parent.
Stevie Nicks lost her mother to pneumonia on December 29, 2011. And Stevie stayed by her side.
Several vigils were held for Barbara Nicks and the Phoenix/Scottsdale native was a local celeb in her own right.
Sources reveal that Stevie sat by her mother’s side for days and friends and family took shifts to make sure the two were comfortable.
