Hmm. Strange combination, but we’ll keep an open mind.
Seth MacFarlane is set to transition from the small screen to the big stage as he will be headling his first musical concert March 26th at Los Angeles’ Club Nokia.
The Family Guy writer/creator/performer has always been a musical person, as evident by the amount of Sound of Music references there have been on the show, so it was no surprise to us when he announced he would be releasing a CD this year. The disc, called Music Is Better Than Words, will feature music inspired by and from the 1940s and 1950s and that’s what he plans to perform at the Nokia.
Joining him on the special night will be a 36-piece orchestra and Sara Bareilles. We hear the duo are slated to perform an inspiring duet called Love Won’t Let You Get Away.
Sounds like an amazing way to kick off his musical career. Even if it doesn’t take off, he’ll always have this night to look back on. (Also, his millions upon millions of dollars to comfort him.)
