YES! YES! Exciting!
Ever since he finished up his reunion tour with The Police back in 2008, we haven’t heard too much from Sting, which was a bummer, because WE LOVES the seksi 56 year old.
He must have been hard at work though, because he announced today that he is planning a WORLD TOUR this summer, in which he will perform his greatest hits re-worked for symphonic arrangement with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra!!
Whoa!! Sounds SO cool!!
The tour begins June 2nd and Vancouver and will go through North America before the UK leg is announced!!
Sting said in a statement:
“I’m delighted by this new opportunity to tour with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and reinterpret the songs I’ve been playing for many years.”
So are we!!! Sign us up!!
