The Granite City School Board in Illinois has denied a student’s request to wear a kilt made out of his family├óΓé¼Γäós tartan to prom.
Their reasoning?
The kilt “is nontraditional and don├óΓé¼Γäót fit into the district├óΓé¼Γäós dress code”.
Lame!
We don’t see what’s the big deal about wearing the kilt, especially if it’s apart of the student’s heritage.
