Just because she’s had the #1 album in the UK and the States, doesn’t mean she gets special treatment!
It seems Susan Boyle will not get her greatly anticipated nomination for the Brit Awards this year and it’s all Simon’s fault.
According to The Daily Mail, the snub is a veiled attack on Simon Cowell!
“She’s not even shortlisted for Best Female, even though that’s usually the weakest category,” claims a source. “And it’s not just an attack on Susan. It also shows how Simon Cowell is regarded by many in the record business.”
Warner Music is also furious at the decision! Other successful acts on their label, such as Muse and Michael Buble, will also cease to be recognized!
“It’s disgusting. She has done more for the British record industry this year than anyone else,” continued the source.
She just may not be hip enough!
“The problem for the Brits is they’re supposed to be a celebration of British music – and cool,” an industry insider claims. “And, whatever anyone thinks of Susan Boyle, she certainly isn’t cool.”
Can U think of anyone cooler than SuBo – cause we sure can’t!!!!
