Subway Is Ditching The Yoga Mat Chemical Found In Their Bread -- But What Else Has It?? Here Are 10 Other Things!

We loved the news that Subway was stepping up and removing a chemical called azodicarbonamide from their bread!
Azodicarbonamide is a binding agent that’s pretty widely used, but mostly by super unhealthy fast food chains as a dough ‘conditioner’ for their bread and buns — but it can also be found in yoga mats and shoe soles. Yum!
Well if that’s enough to gross you out, you won’t want to eat these 10 things either: because they all contain that nasty shizz!
1. McDonald’s Buns
Including the regular bun, bakery-style bun, Big Mac bun, sesame seed bun, bagel, and English muffin.
2. Burger King Buns
Say hello to the chemical in BK’s specialty buns, artisan-style bun, sesame seed bun, croissant, English muffin, French toast sticks, and homestyle Caesar croutons.
3. Chik-fil-A Buns
Especially in the chargrilled chicken sandwich, chicken salad sandwich, and chargrilled chicken club sandwich.
4. Wendy’s Bread/Buns
Pretty much everything: bagels, premium toasted buns, sandwich buns, and panini bread.
5. Carl’s Jr. Buns/Bread
Look out for the plain bun, sesame seed bun, honey wheat bun, sourdough bread, croissant, and French Toast Dips!
6. Arby’s Buns
Oh wow, huge list (And why do these places all have french toast?): sesame seed bun, onion bread, mini bun, marble rye bread, honey wheat bread, harvest wheat bun, croissant, and French toast sticks.
YUCK!
7. Jack In The Box Buns/Bread
What’s it he box? If it’s a regular bun, bakery-style bun, jumbo bun, grilled sourdough bread, or croissant, it’s probably chemicals.
8. Hardee’s Buns/Bread
Azodicarbonamide cab be found in sourdough bread, hot dog bun, seeded bun, wheat bun, and croissant.
9. White Castle Buns
You’re probably high, so it might not matter but… sandwich buns, French Toast Sticks, Cloverhill Cheese Danish, Cloverhill Big Texas Cinnamon Danish, and Awrey Grande Cinnamon Swirl.
10. Dunkin’ Donuts Pastries
NOT the donuts! Instead, these things: danishes, croissants, and Texas Toast.
That is, unless they stop! They said:

“We are evaluating the use of the ingredient as a dough conditioner in our products and currently discussing the matter with our suppliers.”

Nice!
This isn’t shocking because all of these places are unhealthy fast food restaurants, it’s just disappointing!
If the dough DOESN’T need it, why use it?
