The guy who said cast Super 8, Bad News Bears The School Of Rock and other child filled films has been hiding a perverted past from his employers AND the state!
In 1996, then-19-year-old Jason James Murphy, from Seattle, was sentenced to nearly seven years for molesting and kidnapping a young boy who he met while working as a camp counselor!
How could this have possibly happened?
It’s actually kinda simple. He changed his name and address and never told authorities or registered with Megan’s Law.
He got away with it for years — until Friday when Mr. Murphy was arrested on suspicion of violating the sexual offender laws.
Right now he’s out on bail, howeves he’s facing up to three years in prison for lying to authorities.
Of course, he will face much worse if it turns out he’s used his casting couch for anything other than sitting.
