The Super Bowl is great for so many reasons, but one is definitely the memorable moments that you get. Like all of the biggest fumbles and silliness that goes on with the players.
First, things got off to a rocky start when Joe Namath’s pet fur coat nearly ruined the coin toss! At least he and the ref shared a laugh about it.
Just goes to show that fur coats are ridiculous.
Then, on to the Denver Broncos’ first play of the game, which resulted in a safety and two points for the Seattle Seahawks.
We’re still just cracking up over that flubbed snap! Peyton Manning looks just as baffled as us!
It didn’t take long for the Skittles to start in either!
Seattle’s Marshawn Lynch LURVES the colorful candy so much, that after he scored the first TD of the game, he picked some off the ground and ate it! That’s totally fine, because he’s obsessed with tasting the rainbow, but then quarterback Russell Wilson got pelted with some of the hard candies!
Shortly after that touchdown, the Broncos charged back down the field, and Seattle’s Malcolm Smith intercepted the ball! He ran it back 69 yards, but then he tried to dunk the football, and nearly missed! Ha!
One of the actual biggest fumbles of the game was Demaryius Thomas, who had the pigskin punched right out of his hand by Byron Maxwell. In his defense though, Thomas set a Super Bowl record for the most receptions with 13 catches.
Then the fumble of all fumbles had nothing to do with the ball. Seahawks quarterback Wilson, who just helped lead his team to victory, got the saddest of all Gatorade baths. In fact, we’re not even sure he noticed it.
