Superman is having a baby!
Brandon Routh and wife of 4 1/2 years, Courtney Ford are expecting their first child together this summer.
Brandon, who is currently filming a pilot for CBS, confirmed the news:
“It├óΓé¼Γäós been so hard keeping the news to ourselves.
Everyone on set keeps asking, ‘Do you have kids?’ and I’ve had to say, ‘Well ├óΓé¼┬ª not yet!’ It├óΓé¼Γäós the truth. The baby hasn├óΓé¼Γäót been born yet!”
Meanwhile, Courtney, who you may have seen on True Blood and Dexter, discussed the many creative excuses she has had to use when hiding her pregnancy:
“It started getting difficult to hide what was happening. Flu and food poisoning excuses only work for so long, and by the last episode I could no longer button my pants! I just tried to joke that I had a big lunch!”
Ha!
Well, now the secret is out so there’s no turning back!
This is a big step in their lives and we couldn’t be happier for them!
