Sad news for the family and friends of Survivor Palau contestant Jennifer Lyon.
The gorgeous 37-year-old passed away at home in Oregon on Tuesday after a long battle with breast cancer.
Lyon was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer back in 2005. After deciding to get a double mastectomy which was followed by chemotherapy, many thought she was in the clear.
Survivor: Panama star Austin Carty, who briefly dated Jen back in 2006, reveals:
“Jen was a genuinely selfless, sweet-natured person. She always had a smile. She cared about every person.
She was engaged in the greatest fight of her life, but she had every intention to fight and spread her positive messages.”
Our thoughts go out to all of those in Lyon’s life and everyone affected by cancer.
So sad.
