Hours after he was reported missing in Mexico, Survivor producer Bruce Beresford-Redman has been found in the U.S.
Even though Mexican officials declared that he was not allowed to leave the country, his lawyer, Richard Hirsch is saying that they did in fact allow him to leave, stating:
“He has been informed that he has no legal obligation to remain in Mexico pending an investigation into the tragic death of his wife, Monica. He has returned to Los Angeles County to be with his children and attend to family and personal matters.”
He adds that Bruce is “devastated by the loss of his wife, best friend, and the mother of his children” and his motives for returning to L.A. was to regain custody of them.
According to Hirsch, his client has not been accused of a crime and and he has the legal right to have custody of his children, which he says, “is probably what is going to happen next.”
Those poor kids!
