Out Of Jail! Survivor Winner Heading To Halfway House

Good news for tax evader Richard Hatch. He’s being released from prison! Finally. Sorta.

The first-ever winner of Survivor was convicted back in 2006 for failing to pay taxes on his $1 million prize.

Oops!

Hatch was sentenced to four years and three months in jail. You know the government doesn’t play around when you owe them money!

But as of this week, Hatch has been released from federal prison in West Virginia and has since been moved to a halfway house in Pennsylvania.

And in about five months, on October 7th, the convict will finally be released.

Congrats!
