Yes she is!
Britain’s Got Talent mega star Susan Boyle is using UK tour of I Dreamed A Dream, the musical based on her life, as a test to see if she could handle a bigger tour — a GLOBAL tour.
SuBo has yet to do much touring at all since she won the reality show in 2009. Right now, the Scottish singer is nerves about an 11-week tour, where her only responsibility is singing the one song at the end of the show.
She’s using this road show to get a taste of what touring is like. Susan explains:
“It will be an experience so I can do other shows later on, sort of a toe in the water.”
Elaine C. Smith, who plays Susan in the musical, adds:
“She will find out just how shattering seven or eight shows a week can be. It will be good experience for her if she wants to do her own tour.”
While it sounds like her stage counter-part doubts her ability, we think she can handle it!
If SuBo has tought us anything, it’s that anything is possible.
