We won’t let ourselves really believe it until we hear it from Susan Lucci herself, but let’s just say, our hopes might already be too high!
In 2008, Elizabeth Rodriguez got her start in the biz working on the longtime running and soon-to-be ending soap opera, All My Children. As the show is coming to an end (and she was just nomiated for a Tony), Elizabeth was asked to comment on the canceling of the show and what she though lied ahead for star, Susan. Let’s when she let this bomb drop, saying:
“She’s going to Desperate Housewives apparently. She has a contract at ABC. You heard it here first. That’s what I heard!”
Actually, we’ve heard it before, but we haven’t heard it from someone who could be called part of Susan’s inner circle!
Could this really be happening? We really hope so! She’d be such a perfect fit with the bunch!
Then again, she’d fit in nicely over at Hot In Cleveland too! Just a thought!
