Ouch!
Well…we didn’t expect her to take this all lying down!
Susan Lucci, who recently filmed her last scenes as Erica Kane on the canceled All My Children, has decided to write one nasty, pissed off epilogue to her memoir, All My Life, slamming ABC Daytime head Brian Frons as the sole blame for the soap’s demise!
She writes:
├óΓé¼┼ôAn iconic show was losing out to greed…If Brian Frons could show his bosses that he could save the network 40 percent…he could keep his job even if the rest of us lost ours. I watched Brian Frons├óΓé¼Γäó decisions destroy the production of our show and the lives of people on both sides of the country. He has what, for me, is that fatal combination of ignorance and arrogance. I cannot fathom any network executive choosing to alienate millions of loyal viewers in these economic times.├óΓé¼┬¥
A rep for ABC has responded:
“We have all the respect in the world for Susan, and are sorry she felt the need to write this epilogue to an otherwise incredible career.”
Hey! We can’t say we blame her!
