She’s amazing!
It was only three days ago when Susan Boyle announced the release of her second album, The Gift, but it’s already climbed to the #1 position on Amazon’s Bestsellers chart!
“It’s pretty significantly No. 1,” said Craig Pape, Amazon├óΓé¼Γäós director of music. “The Gift has leapfrogged fourth-quarter efforts by Taylor Swift, Eric Clapton, and Neil Young on the Bestsellers tally, with only pre-orders of Bob Dylan’s “The Witmark Demos” coming close to Boyle’s sales.├óΓé¼┬¥
It’s unclear whether or not The Gift will surpass her first album’s pre-order sales (3.8 million), but it could be close.
“I personally expect to see it in that top slot for quite a while,” said Pape. “Through street date and beyond, through Christmas, sales should stay very strong.”
